MY TOP PRIORITIES
Diversity
For the Sheriff's Office to serve all people, it must be inclusive of all people who make up Hillsborough County -- it must be diverse! Diversity should not be a political move, such as we have seen with the current Sheriff. It should be a conscious decision to do what's right -- not just at election time.
Transparency
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has admittedly been openly turning over the office since 1964. They do this to confuse the voter into thinking they are watching out for the citizen, when what they are actually doing is watching out for their own agenda.
Citizens Advisory Committee
Please understand this is not a citizen review committee -- there are over a million people in Hillsborough County to tell me where I failed. This would instead be a committee that would help me review and develop policies for the office that affect the citizens of this county.
